This service guarantees the Matthew James service of excellence and peace of mind that your moving dates can be fixed, allowing you the convenience to make travel arrangements and plan your arrival. All delivery dates are subject to EU laws on driving time. We can confirm the timing prior to any booking.
European Premium Service
A direct service combines Matthew James’ service of excellence with the added advantage of a dedicated collection date and express delivery timescale. Handling of your effects is minimised as they remain on the same vehicle throughout. Although your delivery will be carried out in conjunction with other clients consignments, this means you will share the cost of the vehicle and your consignment will be prioritised for onward delivery typically within 7-10 days of collection.

Puerto Banus is located six kilometres south of Marbella. Known the world over as a place to see and be seen, the extremely wealthy have made the port a home for their yachts (such as the King of Saudi-Arabia). Between the amazing weather and a variety of shops that sell anything you could need (including an Iceland which sells Waitrose products), Puerto Banus is the perfect location for those luxurious needs.
The Marbella region is one of the best places in Spain to find English speaking jobs. Construction and childcare are big employers in the resort, as there are enough expats with families that require they child to be looked after during the day. The marina is obviously big business, and jobs offering a range of services to those who are docked can be found. Even niche jobs like personal shopper can be found! Bilingual job hunters will be able to find work in management, security, commercial sales, and teaching.

Reasons to relocate to Puerto Banus
There isn’t a big need for an extensive transport system in Puerto Banus. There is a local bus service, but many people choose to walk, or if you are so inclined, there are plenty of car rental businesses. And as the report is extremely flat, there isn’t a need to worry uneven ground when it comes to walking. And driving might be the most attractive options, as there isn’t a local train service running into and out of the resort. There are many buses that also connects Puerto Banus with other nearby resorts and destinations. The nearest airport is the Costa del Sol airport of Malaga.
There are plenty of options around Puerto Banus when it comes to finding a place to live. La Quinta is a particularly popular with it being located next to the golf course, and the beautiful mountain village of Benahavis has some incredible views of the Costa del Sol. These residencies are equipped with homes that are better suited to families, and are often better value for money. The closest international schools are Swans and Aloha College. Both of these are some of the best in Europe. An apartment in the heart of Puerto Banus is possible to come by, but they are extremely sort after and can be priced in the millions of Euros.
Much like many other tourist hotspots on the Costa del Sol, water-sports is incredibly popular in the resort, and surf boards and wind-surfing equipment can be rented right on the beach. You can take a buggy tour and explore the inland area of Marbella, or ride of horse back in the nearby mountains. Puerto Banus is a shopper’s haven, with all luxury designers located near the port. The Marbella region has some the best beach clubs in the world, so you can waste a day away with cocktail in hand by the sea and enjoy the view and weather. Gibraltar is also only one hours drive away, so a trip to the Rock is a must (keep those bags closed and close to you though, the monkeys aren’t shy!)
