A dedicated service gives you the flexibility to choose your collection and delivery dates. This service guarantees the Matthew James service of excellence and peace of mind that your moving dates can be fixed, allowing you the convenience to make travel arrangements and plan your arrival. All delivery dates are subject to EU laws on driving time. We can confirm the timing prior to any booking.
European Premium Service
A direct service combines Matthew James’ service of excellence with the added advantage of a dedicated collection date and express delivery timescale. Handling of your effects is minimised as they remain on the same vehicle throughout. Although your delivery will be carried out in conjunction with other clients consignments, this means you will share the cost of the vehicle and your consignment will be prioritised for onward delivery typically within 7-10 days of collection.

In the 1980s, the World Health Organisations reported that Jávea was located at the heart of the perfect micro system for a healthy environment. And not much has changed except that expats have caught on to this lovely little wonder. Located in Alicante in south Spain, Jávea is one of the classiest places on the Costa Blanca.
As Jávea is one of the most popular places for expats, and therefore thousands (specifically Brits) have made it their home. This means that there are plenty of networks and job opportunities for newcomers, especially because Spanish is not a requirement when job hunting. The majority of work centres around the tourism and service industries. As work is seasonal, its advised that you hunt for a job in the nearby cities of Benidorm and Alicante to make sure that you aren’t out of pocket in the colder months.

Reasons to relocate to Javea
The best way to get around Jávea is to get a car. There really isn’t any public transport to speak of as everything in the town can be accessed on foot. Buses will take you to nearby destinations, but they aren’t as frequent as you will find in major EU cities, so if you desire to expand your horizons further than the town limits, then a motorised vehicle is absolutely the way to go. Equal distance away are Valencia and Alicante airports, and it will take you about an hour to reach either.
The best places to buy properties are as follows. The port the life of the town surrounds this area, and if you want to be in the thick of the action next to the sea, there isn’t much better than this. Arenal is a great location for families as it is a great distance from the beach and is far enough that you aren’t forever surrounded by the hustle of central life. La Corona and Cuesta San Antonio is where you till find the luxury apartments, and Granadella is sort after for its ocean views. Xàbia International College is the only international school in Jávea that is based on the English National Curriculum.
The best way to explore the town and its surrounding areas are a combination of two things. Fantastic kayak and snorkel tours will enable you to experience the beautiful Spanish coast from the ocean, whilst renting a Scooter means that you can nip your way around the surrounding mountains and taking in the breathtaking landscape. Of course, most people relocate to Jávea for the sun, so you will find any excuse to get yourself to the beach and waste a day on the sands or enjoying a few drinks in the many bars that line the seafront. There are also plenty of opportunities for you to rent equipment for one (or all) of the many water sports that are on offer, so there is always a jet-ski free for those thrill seekers.
